The Cannes Yachting Festival 2020, due to take place from September 8-13, has been cancelled.
The show had been given a special dispensation by the French government under the “Safe and Clean” label, which approved health and safety measures taken by the show to prevent risk to visitors and exhibitors.
However, organisers Reed Expo have now decided to cancel the event, as concerns mount over increasing cases of Covid-19 in the Alpes-Maritimes region.
Reed Expo is expected to make an announcement later this evening. More to follow.
