Full-time work on S501, the 5th project in the Tankoa fleet and the third hull in its 50-meter / 164-foot all-aluminum series, has resumed after an easing of the lockdown situation in Italy.

Started on speculation and sold in March 2020 just before the coronavirus crisis took hold in Europe, S501 is sistership to Bintador and Vertige. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, her layout is much the same with two important variations: the main deck aft is dedicated exclusively to an enormous lounge for relaxation with the dining room on the upper deck, while the forward master stateroom features a private lounge that can be converted into an extra ensuite cabin.

Although we were effectively obliged to stop work for two months, production is now back on track, says Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa Sales Manager. “With construction at more than 75% complete we’re making up for lost time and looking at delivery by the end of the year to allow the owner to use it in the Caribbean”. I should add that we have resumed activities based on new government protocols and are making no compromises with regard to the safety of our workforce.”
