Ferretti Group has announced the sale of a new Ferretti Yachts 1000 to a buyer in Taiwan. The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is the new flagship of the Ferretti Yachts line. The yacht was purchased by an experienced owner who will be cruising around Taiwan and also plans to cruise to Japan “whenever possible.”

The sale was facilitated by Amal Yachting, a leading yacht dealer in Taiwan and the exclusive dealer for Ferretti Yachts in Taiwan. Amal Yachting is headed by former naval architect Tee Tzer-Yu, who co-founded Amal Yachting in 2014. Tee has said that Taiwan buyers prefer a lot of living space onboard, and that Japan is popular destination. Tee was recently featured as a “one to watch” in 2022.

Ferretti Group says that the 1000 will be the first new superyacht to be imported to the island.
