Simpson Marine has officially opened its rebranded offices in Pattaya, Thailand, at Ocean Marina Yacht Club. The firm’s brokerage team is located at the brand new sales office, while a new Simpson Sailing Academy has opened opposite.
“With Pattaya establishing itself as a busy sales and charter centre and Thailand fully opening to international travellers and businesses early this year, we have observed a healthy and steady interest in both yacht purchases and charters that continue to grow as a post-pandemic trend,” the firm says in a statement, adding that its charter fleet of 15 yachts is now operating at full capacity.
Aside of the office expansion, Simpson Marine says Pattaya will soon welcome another Asia premiere – the Aquila 54 yacht. A Sanlorenzo SL118 is also now exploring the Gulf of Thailand with a base in Ocean Marina Pattaya.
“To help establish this local market from its grassroots, we are delighted to have finally launched Simpson Marine’s own Sailing Academy, which offers sailing courses of all levels starting with beginners ranging up to advanced and a professional racing curriculum,” Simpson says. “We have a team of instructors and a fleet of eight Beneteau First Boats (F14, F18, F27) and everything is set up to welcome students for enrolment.”
